Barry Cordero is a Director of Manufacturing at Medtronic Diabetes in Northridge, CA. Barry's team manufactures 100% of the Medtronic’s patients’ global demand for continuous glucose sensors and transmitters. Barry is also an Advisory Board member for The Data Initiative and the Boise State University Department of Material Sciences.
Barry has a passion for diversity in Corporate America, specifically in tech companies. Having served as Chairman and CEO of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), he gained significant experience and influence in this area. He continues to develop this passion through his leadership in Medtronic’s Hispanic Latino Network executive committee.
