Jack Kurtz is the CEO and Founder of Fortuitas, a digital agency based in Valencia, CA.
He has worked in the software and digital services business since 1994, and has functioned at the senior and executive management levels for 5 different consulting firms. He also worked as Vice President of Engineering for Move, Inc. (formerly Homestore), a publicly traded dot com focused on real estate solutions online, including realtor.com, move.com and many other real estate related online services. Prior to becoming an executive in the industry, Jack gained a wealth of experience as a software developer and architect, project manager, database architect and database administrator. Over the years, Jack has also been a well-known public speaker and software instructor in Southern California. He taught object-oriented game programming at the American Film Institute, and taught graduate school at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). He was a featured speaker at the University of Southern California (USC) and the Directors Guild of America. In addition, he was a contributing writer for “The Macintosh Bible, 6th Edition”. Jack has served on the Forbes LA Business Council from 2019-2020 and has been featured in several publications on forbes.com. When Jack is not busy working at Fortuitas, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing drums and piano, and meditating.
