Jayson is an entrepreneur who, along with his wife, built a multi-million-dollar business with focus on community empowerment. What started as a staffing firm – JLM Strategic Talent Partners - focusing on a niche construction industry, has been growing into an impactful multitude of businesses. Jayson’s visionary and technology focused approach to entrepreneurship has led him to create additional businesses that support his larger vision of making an impact on communities by giving them access to local jobs created by large infrastructure projects.
Now, in addition to JLM, Jayson is also leading Career Excellence Academy, which provides professional training in the industry, and which in partnership with the Mayor’s Office of Economic Opportunity, City of LA and other partners, has created a robust training program included as part of the Mayor’s Green New Deal and with potential to become a national model. Lastly, Jayson has been revolutionizing the industry by incorporating technology to recruitment processes. Identifying a niche for more tech solutions in the industry, Jayson founded a software company, which is developing technology to simplify and streamline processes on large projects. Jayson, his wife and son live in Long Beach.
