I extended myself into the business world with my own Outdoor Power Equipment dealership, then moved north to Dubuque Iowa I formed another business venture focused on retail sales and service as well as a Service distributorship for Engine Parts, next I moved on, focusing on a Corporate Service position, then in February 1982 started as the Service Representative for MN, WI, Il and IN servicing ninety eight accounts.
I moved quickly to Dealer Development, then as Regional Sales Manager until I was requested to move to the Corporate office in California as the National Product Training Manager, then in 1993 I moved up to be the National Tractor and Implement Product Marketing Manager, then to Senior level. For the next twenty one years I provided Product Marketing for most all products, with the last ten years I focused on the Agricultural tractors, while handling product marketing I also handled all dealer communications, website, photo and video shoots and presented new products at the annual dealer meeting. Then in January 2009 I started my pursuit for my Bachelor’s degree at UOP (University of Phoenix}, graduated February 2014 while working full time. This was a way to slow down a little bit, I moved to Engineering in 2014 to support special projects and handled all tractor tire projects. Then in April 2018 I pursued my MBA at Capella University and graduated in September 2020 with a 3.911 GPA. Then along with another move in the office to a newly created Product Center, I am now the Senior Advisor, Marketing Research in TPPC (Tractor Product Planning Center) home of future new products. Thirty eight years down, planning on seven more to go. Obtaining my MBA is to add credence to my lengthy career in the agricultural industry for future consulting opportunities. Thank you |
