Area of Expertise

North American General Manager, Tern Bicycles. Former COO, Dahon North America, Director of Sales, Giant Bicycles.
Mr. Boyd is the General Manager of Tern Bicycles in the U.S. He joined a global team of founders in Spring 2011 to launch Tern and as a shareholder, was tasked with all startup activities in establishing the brand and business operations in the U.S. He was previously Chief Operating Officer at Dahon North America, previously a leader in folding bicycles. He joined Dahon from American Bicycle Group, a leading global designer and manufacturer of ultra-premium bicycles, where he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

​Prior to joining American Bicycle Group, Steve was Director of Sales for Giant Bicycle, Inc., a leading global brand of specialty bicycles. He has a BA in History from Virginia Military Institute and earned his MBA in Pepperdine University’s Presidential/Key Executive Program.
