Mr. Boyd is the General Manager of Tern Bicycles in the U.S. He joined a global team of founders in Spring 2011 to launch Tern and as a shareholder, was tasked with all startup activities in establishing the brand and business operations in the U.S. He was previously Chief Operating Officer at Dahon North America, previously a leader in folding bicycles. He joined Dahon from American Bicycle Group, a leading global designer and manufacturer of ultra-premium bicycles, where he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Prior to joining American Bicycle Group, Steve was Director of Sales for Giant Bicycle, Inc., a leading global brand of specialty bicycles. He has a BA in History from Virginia Military Institute and earned his MBA in Pepperdine University’s Presidential/Key Executive Program.
