Temera Carson, MSW is a Social Work Supervisor over the Recruitment and Retention of Resource (Foster) Family Homes for Santa Clara County Department of Family and Children’s services (DFCS). Temera has worked for DFCS for 18 years and has extensive experience working in all areas of Child Welfare, and is trained as an adoption specialists with a focus on trauma and wellbeing, and facilitates trainings and workshops for adoptive and resource (foster) parents.
Temera is bi-racial and brings a cultural lens to the work that she is involved in to better serve all families and children.
